After decades of patient care, I was accused of sexual assault while performing patient care. I contacted my malpractice insurance and found out that it only protects my license and it was useless in a criminal case. I was desperate. I knew that I needed a lawyer to defend myself against these baseless accusations and I wanted a nurse so I would not need to explain nursing terms and cultures. I looked up nurse attorneys on the internet for Ga. Ms. Williams was the third attorney I contacted but the first that returned my call. My spirit was immediately calmed by her quiet and warm demeanor. To make a long story short, the charges were found to be baseless, I didn’t lose my job, and I continued to work (though not in direct care) while all the fact-finding was going on. I will be eternally grateful for all the assistance given to me by Ms. Williams.
